WAKEFIELD -- The Wakefield-Marenisco School Board has decided to take a new direction in their search for an administrator.

At Thursday night's meeting, they did not hire a district administrator, even though they had narrowed the field to two people.  Instead, they decided to change the job description slightly.

They're now looking for a full-time principal who would also serve as a part-time administrator.

This means, anyone who had applied for the previous position is welcome to resubmit their application.

The deadline to apply is June 29, 3 p.m.

The district hopes to hire someone in July.
