CORNELL TWP -- An Escanaba man is hospitalized after a rollover crash in Delta County early Wednesday morning.

Gladstone Public Safety says the crash happened on County Road 426 near Meadows 24th Road in Cornell Township around 12:30 Wednesday morning.

A car driven 31-year-old David Allen Williams left the road, rolled over, coming to rest in a field.

Williams was not wearing a seat belt.  He was ejected from the vehicle.

Williams is at Marquette General Hospital in fair condition.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but police say alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor.
