HOUGHTON COUNTY -- Investigators with the Houghton County Sheriff's Department are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects who broke into the Marathon gas station in Dollar Bay early Wednesday morning.

Surveillance video captured the suspects who broke a front window to get into the gas station, stealing money and cartons of cigarettes, leaving a mess in the store.

The money they stole was in donation cans for the Dollar Bay First Responders and the Copper Country Humane Society.

"Even if they think it might be someone else close in description, if they would let us know and we'll follow up on any leads that we would get," said Detecvtive Adam Rajala.

Anyone with information on the break-in should contact the Houghton County Sheriff's Department.
