ESCANABA -- Police are looking for suspects in the weekend break-in at a church in Escanaba.

Officials say thieves broke through a window on the east side of the Saint Joseph, Saint Patrick Church.

They then apparently rummaged through office desks and cabinets inside the rectory and made off with an estimated $340.

The incident remains under investigation, and Escanaba Public Safety is hoping someone will step forward with help in the investigation.

Isn't anything sacred? How on Earth can you losers justify feeding your meth habit by stealing from a church. I bet you make your mother so proud.

You Didn't Get Away With It

To the theives who broke into the church and stole God's money...

The police may never find you and you might think you got away with your crime, but I can assure you that there is One who knows all. One who sees all. One who will hold you accountable in the end.

You can count on the fact that your deed will not go unanswered. There will come a time that you'll face the ultimate judgment for what you've done. If I were you, I'd return the cash and head for the first confessional you can find.
