MARQUETTE -- The Beacon House in Marquette held the launch party for their Celebrity Golf Classic Wednesday night. Golfers, sponsors, and friends of the Beacon House gathered at the Ore Dock Brewery. The launch party is a way to reunite the players and sponsors and learn about the changes to the golf classic this year.
"We found a way to make sure that there was a level for everyone to play this year, so we've got something for everyone, and we're very excited about that," said Mary Dowling from the Beacon House. "We believe that we're going to have both the Heritage and Greywalls filled to the rafters."
Steve Mariucci addressed the crowd and expressed his thanks for all who support the Beacon House. The plan is to hold similar launch parties in Escanaba and Iron Mountain in the coming months. If you'd like to sign up for the Celebrity Golf Tournament, click here.
