DICKINSON COUNTY -- A Dickinson County business is extending a slice of their proceeds to help local causes.

Blackstone Pizza in Iron Mountain and Norway is giving back to the community through what they do best:  making pizza.

They're doing what they call the "community service initiative" on Monday nights where they donate 15 percent of proceeds between 4 and 8 p.m.

"We have been able to donate close to $2,000 so far this year.  Our aim is to, in our first year, donate $10,000 to local causes," said Blackstone owner, Mark McKinnon.

McKinnon says they've already had a great response from the community.

If an organization is interested in being a part of the initiative, they can contact the restaurant.
