We were fit to be tied last week at 19 wins and 2 losses. Luds remains just two games ahead of me with four weeks to go in the regular season. We're a little late this week thanks to last nights storm. We didn't have internet for a while so posting this column at it's regularly schedule Thursday posting time wasn't do-able. Escanaba at Menominee :
Ludlum: Menominee, Maroons defense is better than Escanaba's
Bedard: I'm going with the Maroons too. I've seen them twice and the dismantling of Kingsford right before my eyes has got me thinking Ford Field possibly for Menominee. First things first though, Esky falls 28-7.Sault Ste. Marie Gladstone:
Ludlum: Gladstone is on the board, Braves 35-14
Bedard: Gladstone finally gets a break, Braves 42-0
Kingsford at Marquette:
Ludlum: Can Kingsford stop Marquette's running game? Answer: No Redmen 35-21
Bedard: Again, watched Menominee throw all over the Flivvers the week before, but Marquette is going to run it a lot and that makes this game very close, but Marquette wins 21-20
Manistique at Iron Mountain:
Ludlum: IM 42-7
Bedard: This will be ugly for the Emeralds unfortunately, IM 48-6.
Ishpeming at Ontonagon:
Ludlum: Gladiators keep it close but Ishpeming wins 20-14
Bedard: Ishpeming took a nap late on Norway and it almost cost them. They refocus and win 28-6
Norway at Negaunee:
Ludlum: Negaunee 22-14
Bedard: Miners fresh after a week off, but also rusty. They still win 20-14.
Calumet at West Iron Co.:
Ludlum: Calumet 38-14
Bedard: The West PAC crown may come down to this! Excited to be at this game tonight for a bit. Calumet though has too much offense and just enough defense in this one, Copper Kings 38-21.
Lake Linden Hubbell at Hancock:
Ludlum: Hancock 26-20
Bedard: The tough year for Coach Andy Crouch and his Lakes continues, Hancock 28-20
Northland Pines at Houghton:
Ludlum: Northland Pines 40-8
Bedard: Northland Pines 40-0
Ironwood at L'Anse:
Ludlum: L'Anse 20-14 in OT
Bedard: Ironwood 26-14

North Dickinson at Forest Park:
Ludlum: Forest Park 28-20
Bedard: After watching the Buffalo Bills FINALLY beat New England after losing 15 straight, I gotta believe North Dickinson finally beats Forest Park for the first time in six years (Last won 28-0 in 2006) That's six straight losses to the Trojans. Big upset pick here, Nordics 35-28
