WELLS TWP. -- No injuries were reported after a house fire Saturday morning in Wells Township. At 2:29 a.m. on Saturday, Escanaba Public Safety responded to 5697 Pine 0.25 Street for the report of a fire.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, there was smoke inside the house, and a fire was found inside a wall. The fire was extinguished.

There was fire, water and smoke damage to the house. The fire is still under investigation.
