MARQUETTE -- Restaurant Week in Marquette is underway and it's giving owners a chance to show off their best dishes. All this week, select restaurants in Marquette have fixed prices for lunch and dinner specials. The lunch price is $10 and dinner is $25. Vango's on 3rd Street is serving up Greek cuisine like gyros and Greek salads.

"It brings greater awareness to the independent restaurants, those of us that are not franchised, and we do many of our items from scratch, predominately," said Vango's co-owner, Michele Butler. "Different recipes and different opportunities for people to come in and find out just how much the independent restaurants have to offer."

Fifteen restaurants are participating including Donckers, The Pasta Shop and Togo's. Restaurant Week runs through Sunday.
