MARQUETTE -- A Gwinn man pled guilty and will face sentencing next month.

Twenty-six-year-old Sean David McNamara pled to assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.

In January, McNamara was pulled over by Marquette City Police for a minor traffic violation. When he stopped the car, he fled police on foot.

A chase ensued, but it ended after police tazed McNamara. A search of his vehicle also found marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
