HOUGHTON -- The Rozsa Center at Michigan Tech was full of people shopping for the 15th annual Home for the Holidays gift market.

More than 20 vendors showed up to feature their homemade crafts. The event offered everything from Christmas wreaths, jewelry, pottery, paintings, and much more.

According to organizers, the gift market helps support artists in the area.

"We have had a wonderful turnout this year, just great attendance. The weather did not stop people from attending this year," said Melissa Hronkin, an organizer.

Officials say more than 1,000 people shopped.

The show continued well into the evening.
