Two injured in accidental shooting

IRON MOUNTAIN -- On Thursday, the Iron Mountain Police Department responded to a report of an accidental shooting on the westside of Iron Mountain at approximately 3 p.m.

Two people were transported to Dickinson County Hospital for non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

The Iron Mountain Police Department says no arrests will be made.

Officers were assisted on scene by the Dickinson County Sheriff's Department, Kingsford Public Safety, Michigan State Police and Beacon Personnel.
