MARQUETTE -- Perkins restaurant in Marquette is giving you a deal on your next meal if you help out Toys for Tots. Now through the Christmas season, if you bring in a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots, you get 20 percent off your meal. Originally they were offering this deal for the weekend, but they've now decided to keep it going through the holiday season.
"We're just looking to help out. It's tough times right now, everyone needs help; a lot of the kids that work for us need help. We're just doing our best to be part of the community and try to make dreams come true for people," said Kurt Fisher, General Manager for Perkins.
Perkins is also opening up in time for you to do your Christmas shopping on a full stomach. They will be opening at 10 p.m. on Thursday, just ahead of retail stores' Black Friday deals.
