HOUGHTON -- The MTEC smartzone in Houghton is introducing a brand new networking opportunity for local entrepreneurs.
It's called Keweenaw Meet-up, and it helps entrepreneurs launch their products and ideas within the smartzone.
Each meeting begins with an introduction, and then a guest speaker discusses a specific business topic.
"This event is a little bit different in that it is for entrepreneurs that are seeking support, and they're also able to collaborate with each other if they aren't part of any kind of other networks. So it's a new networking opportunity for them," said Julie Melchiori, an organizer for Meet-up.
The Meet-up is offered once a month in different venues.
