WASHINGTON, DC (AP) -- About 3,000 toy police cars, made in China and imported by TCB Imports, have been recalled. The product's red paint has high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by children. No injuries or incidents have been reported.
The recall involves toy cars that build momentum when pushed forward and then move on their own when released. The recalled toys, with the item No. TF820, were sold at dollar and discount stores nationwide from May through August 2008.
