Children's museum receives $17,000 grant

MARQUETTE -- The Upper Peninsula Children's Museum in Marquette will receive a $17,000 grant, according to a statement released on Wednesday.

The $17,000 will come from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.

The MCACA awards competitive grants each year to help organizations meet basic needs, including heat, electricity and staffing.
