GWINN -- Friday is "Kids Smile Day" and Northern Trails Dental in Gwinn will treat kids under the age of 18 for free.  It's all part of National Children's Dental Health Month.

You can bring your child in Friday, February 15, to get their teeth examined, including x-rays, cleanings, and emergency treatment.  It's a way to be proactive in making sure kids have healthy teeth.

It's also a way to give back to the community.

"Dental care is very expensive, so it can be a challenge for parents to provide that for their children. So that's our goal; we really do want to help out, help ease that financial burden," said Dr. Gwendolyn Buck.

The event happens Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Northern Trails Dental in Gwinn.
