MARQUETTE -- Local Baby Boomers had a chance to see how they can make the most out of their golden years at the Marquette YMCA on Monday.

This is the fourth year for the Baby Boomers and Beyond Expo. Organizers had informational booths as well as leisure activities for the seniors.

Health care providers from around Marquette County were also offering free health screenings. Organizers say this is an event to let seniors know what's available to them.

"The take away is just, those older adults, being healthy and not just staying in their homes and getting out, if they can, and making sure that they're exercising, making sure they're eating healthy and that they know that there are resources available to them," said Jenna Zdunek of the Marquette YMCA. "It's just a really good day to focus on health and wellness for older adults."

The expo was free to all who attended, and lunch was provided for the150 seniors that attended the expo.
