MARQUETTE -- The Cobb brothers, Shad and Jesse, a well-known bluegrass group from Tennessee, return to Marquette. They originally played in downtown Marquette quite often in the 1990s.

"They were regulars at what was called 'The Village Pub' down on Third Street. They were really good way back then, so now you can imagine how they are now. They are pretty phenomenal musicians," said Andy Langlois, Black Rocks Brewery.

In the last 30 years, they have honed their talents. They have been Grammy nominated and have worked with many legendary country artists.

"It's a really neat experience to have these guys willing to make a stop here to Marquette to sit down in our little place here. It's going to be like sitting in your living room watching a couple Grammy nominated musicians from Nashville play. It's amazing," Langlois said.

The duo are in the process of writing music for a new release and will be seeing how the audience responds to it during their tour. They plan on stopping at a few places in Wisconsin and Indiana.

They will be at the Black Rocks Brewery in Marquette on Friday, March 22, at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $15.
