FORSYTH TOWNSHIP -- Forsyth Township has decided not to appeal a court decision allowing the Shady Grove Farm to stay in operation.

Township officials said Randy and Libby Buchler's farm violated zoning laws around Johnson Lake and went to court to shut it down.

But last month a judge ruled Shady Grove is protected by the Michigan Right to Farm Act.
