MARQUETTE COUNTY -- In a park usually filled with just sculptures, Lakenenland was overrun with ghosts, goblins, and ghouls just to name a few.
Children and adults alike celebrated the upcoming holiday at Lakenenland's first-ever Halloween party.
The park is always free to visitors and so was Saturday's celebration.
While people toured the park by foot or on wheels, guests could keep warm by the bonfire. But that wasn't all the Lakenen family had planned.
"Hay rides with the tractor and trailer, pumpkin carving, live music, and then we're going to have a parade of all the costumes and give trophies to the winners," said organizer Pat Lakenen.
The family hopes the Halloween party will help expose more of the public to Lakenenland, which is open year-round.
