MARQUETTE -- Every year in October people of all ages in Marquette take the scary trek along the Moosewood Haunted Bog Walk.
Right now the bog walk is quiet, but on October 22, it will be busy with witches, ghosts, and goblins--that's if organizers can find some much-needed volunteers. They need everything from line leaders to concession help.
The event runs three days, 7-9 p.m., and organizers say this is the perfect opportunity for those who like to scare, not to be scared to raise money for a good cause.
"We're looking for people to help out because this is our big fund-raiser for the year. We look to the money that we raise from our haunted bog to help fund our programs for the year, for the programs we offer for school groups, for community groups, and just for folks here in town," said Scot Stewart, Moosewood representative.
