ISHPEMING -- A variety show this weekend will benefit victims of the Black River Falls fire in May.
All 'New Beginnings' ticket sales go directly to the 13 families affected by the fire.
The event is being sponsored by the Wesley United Methodist Church.
Voices in Motion and the Westwood Jazz Band were practicing for the concert Wednesday morning.
Other acts include the Negaunee Male Chorus, Strictly Gospel, and Blue Notes.
Co-organizer Dick Derby said, "We hope that the community will respond and fill that auditorium, and I'm very pleased to tell you that all of the groups performing, and there are 11 of them, are donating their talent and time."
The show is at 7 p.m. this Saturday at the Peterson Auditorium in Ishpeming High School.
Tickets are available at the door or in advance at all Peninsula Bank branches, Wesley United Methodist Church, and the Ezekiel Christian Bookstore. They are a donation of $10.
