ESCANABA -- If you're looking to do something different on a Saturday afternoon, you may want to try the "Featured Artists Saturday" at Leigh's Garden Winery in Escanaba.
It's about a meet and greet with a local artist along with some wine. It's the second year for the Featured Artists Saturday. You can stop by to see artwork you've never seen before and taste some wine.
"They don't take a look at our store or what we're providing. So by having the artist in here, not only is that giving them exposure to another crowd, which is the people that drink wine, but it gives people that appreciate art a chance to taste our wine as well," said owner, Leigh Schmidt.
They plan to host two more Saturday events in December. They're hoping to turn it into a summer artist fest next year.
