Man in marijuana case sentenced

HOUGHTON -- The Calumet man charged with the possession of marijuana appeared in Houghton County Circuit Court Friday for sentencing.

Twenty-one-year-old Joshua Beaudoin was charged with possession of a controlled substance and delivery or manufacturing of a controlled substance last summer during a traffic stop. Police found several bags of marijuana and a scale in his vehicle.

Beaudoin was sentenced to four months in jail with credit for 35 days already served. He will also be under probation for two years.
