MARQUETTE -- An Ishpeming man was sentenced Wednesday for crashing his vehicle while driving with a blood alcohol content over four times the legal limit.  Patrick Hill, 31, pled guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated, second offense.  His blood alcohol level was .35 percent.

Police received tips from other motorists about a pickup truck driving erratically on U.S. 41 between Marquette and Negaunee.  Shortly later, Hill struck an oncoming vehicle in Negaunee.  There were no serious injuries.

Hill was sentenced to 180 days in jail with a minimum of 20 days served starting December 5.  He will be on probation for two years.

Hill also has to complete his time with the "sobriety court program" and turn in his medical marijuana card.
