MARQUETTE -- The Superior Health Foundation in Marquette held an open house Wednesday evening to allow everyone to view their new facility.

The Superior Health Foundation is a non-profit formerly known as the Marquette General Foundation.  When MGH was purchased by Duke LifePoint and became a for-profit organization, the foundation decided to move to their new location on Front Street in early November.

They also have a new mission.  To support health care across the entire U.P., not just Marquette.

The open house allowed the community to learn more about the changes.

"This is a new beginning for us. We've worked very hard as an entire board.  Our staff has worked diligently to put their best foot forward and start off on the right track," said Foundation President, Tom Buckingham.

The open house was well attended.
