ESCANABA -- The administrator of Christian Park Village Nursing Home in Escanaba is being recognized by the American College of Health Care Administrators at an annual convention.

Lynnette Johnson will receive a certificate and plaque at the convention in Nashville, Tennessee later this month.  She's responsible for everything that goes on in the nursing home.  Johnson said her biggest goal is to have quality programs in place to take care of the 59 residents.

"The position, as a nursing home administrator and a nurse, also, I have dedicated 15 years of my life to taking care of the elderly, and it is one of the most rewarding experiences that anybody could ever have," said Lynette.

Johnson's other duties include making sure the departments are following federal and state guidelines.
