MARQUETTE -- The snowstorm that set in late Monday night had many businesses wondering whether to shut their doors or remain open.

Getz's clothing store in downtown Marquette was closed on Tuesday, but reopened on Wednesday morning. Other businesses like Family Video not only remained open both days, but received an increase in customers renting videos.

Third Street Bagel was another business in Marquette that kept its doors open. Employees say they can't remember the last time they closed due to weather.

"I don't think, in the history of Third Street Bagels, we've ever closed for a storm," said Assistant Manager Brianne Horton. "Business has slowed down a little bit, but that's to be expected. We still have a fair amount of foot traffic, being right on Third Street. We have our drive-thru window; we have a lot of deliveries. Believe it or not, people want to stay in their office so we're going to bring food to them, and then we do have our die hard regulars."

Third Street Bagel also created a special snow day menu for their customers.
