MARQUETTE -- Northern Michigan University held their annual Health Fair on Tuesday. More than 30 booths were set up with information for healthier lifestyles. Representatives from Marquette General Hospital, Planned Parenthood, and other local organizations were set up, providing information.

"It's always about putting the information out there; it's never about judging anyone," said Lenny Shible, Health Promotion Specialist. "It's about getting people to the point where they're prepared so that when they're ready to make that change to be a little bit healthier, little bit safer with their choices, that we can support that. That they have all the tools they need."

Attendees also had a chance to get free health screenings and sample healthy foods. The Health Fair is put on by the NMU Health Promotion Society. There was no cost to attend.
