Question What is your premier service? Answer Education. Our mission is to encourage students to learn and grow through a quality cosmetology curriculum that prepares them for personal and industry success. We offer a fun and exciting atmosphere where students enjoy coming to school and enjoy learning. Question How long will it take me to complete the program I enroll in? Answer The cosmetology program is a 1500 hour theory and practical curriculum that takes approximately 13 months to complete. The manicuring program is a 600 hour theory and practical curriculum that takes approximately 5 months to complete. We also offer the cosmetology instructor program for individuals that have completed the 1500 hour cosmetology program and have passed their state board exam. This advanced course is a 600 hour hands on learning experience that will take the future educator approximately 5 months to complete. All completion times are based upon the student's individual attendance. Question What is the one thing you would like potential students to know about your business? Answer We are a small privately owned facility which allows the instructional staff to customize lessons according to each student's learning style and needs. We then focus on the student's strengths and build an educational plan around those strengths. Question What sets your school apart from your competition? Answer Our school is open year round to allow students to complete their hours and begin working in their chosen profession in a timely manner. Also, the one-on-one instruction our students receive during their time in school sets them up for success in the cosmetology profession. The ultimate goal of Main Street School of Cosmetology is to train the our students to become the most sought after professionals in the cosmetology industry today. Question Why is it important to customers that they think about the product or service you offer? (before they need it) Answer At Main Street School of Cosmetology we encourage students to plan for their future. Cosmetology school is a commitment in learning, therefore, thought should be given to transportation, daycare, tuition cost as well as living arrangements. Prior planning will allow for stress free learning and set the student up for success. Question What will I be learning at Main Street School of Cosmetology? Answer We offer three programs Cosmetology, Manicuring, and Instructor Programs. All of these programs are specialized to the field you will be entering. During your time at Main Street School Of Cosmetology you will become knowledgeable in the areas of the inudustry through classes, hands-on guest services, and product knowledge. Question Why is it valuable to customers to get to know you and your staff? Answer We want our students to feel relaxed and comfortable during their time at Main Street School of Cosmetology so that they will be able to ask questions and make the most out of their learning experience. Question What do you contribute to your community? Answer We contribute highly skilled, well trained professionals to the local salons, who in turn, provide the ultimate salon experience for guests in the community. We also encourage our students to give back through their talents, ways in which our school does this is by donating time to area nursing homes and assisted living organizations and by holding fund raisers throughout the year. Question What do customers need to know before they come in or call you? Answer Our business hours are from 8:30am to 4:30pm and we would be happy to answer any of your enrollment questions during this time. Question What services do you offer that many people don't know about? Answer We offer future students apartment and daycare information so they can plan and prepare for their additional needs during their time at Main Street School of Cosmetology.
