MANISTIQUE, Mich. (WLUC) - Keeping up with technology can be a challenge for schools, but St. Francis de Sales in Manistique recently received a donation that will go a long way toward them doing just that.
mBank has donated ten computers to the school that are going to replace those used in individuals classrooms. The computers the school was using were more than 10 years old, while the donated models are two to three years old.
The donation allowed the school to spend its technology budget to improve elsewhere in the school.
“We were able to take that money and instead of buying computers with that, we were able to upgrade our wireless here throughout the building, which is beyond exciting,” said Don Erickson, Principal at St. Francis de Sales.
Students at the school made cards to thank mBank for their donation.
