YMCA of Marquette County hosts Halloween at the Y! Saturday

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - The YMCA of Marquette County had some superheroes, fairies, princesses and other creatures visit in Marquette Saturday for Halloween at the Y! from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Hundreds of children lined up with their parents for the free, annual event.

"It's a less scary alternative, so we don't have the haunted house or anything. So they have fun just playing the little games and bouncing in the bounce house, just to have a good time before Halloween," says Allison Rule, Member Services Representative for YMCA of Marquette County.

Kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes to bounce in the bounce house, play games, get their faces painted, make crafts, and much more before Halloween on Tuesday.

Halloween at the Y! was made possible because of its sponsors - Dental Associates, Carpet One Floor & Home, Shopko, Super One Foods, Yoop-Phoria, MQT Nutrition, and Border Grill. If you would like to sponsor next year's event, please contact YMCA of Marquette County.
