PALMER, Mich. (WLUC) - Wednesday is a getaway day for holiday travelers, and it could be the busiest Thanksgiving travel period in almost a decade.
The weather is less than ideal for those on the highway and there have already been some crashes. An accident on M-35 in Palmer involved one vehicle and at least one person is hospitalized with minor injuries.
There was also a rollover crash in Wells Township with no apparent injuries. On U.S. 2 between Marquette and Manistique, several accidents occurred with no injuries reported.
The Michigan State Police are cautioning drivers to slow down.
