Warrior Relief Fund looking for sponsors for upcoming Golf Outing

MARQUETTE, Mich (WLUC) - The Warrior Relief Fund is looking for people and businesses to sponsor holes in their upcoming Golf Outing.

The Warrior Relief Fund helps veterans, active duty military members, and reserve members in times of crisis. Richard Wood from the Warrior Relief Fund says the local chapter has been able to help nine veterans so far this year, as well as donated a therapeutic bike to the Jacobetti Home.

Wood says their upcoming Golf Outing, happening on August 25 at Red Fox Run in Gwinn, is already filled with players, but now they need sponsors. He says they usually get 50 to 60 sponsors in past years. Wood is asking for people and businesses to consider sponsoring a hole for $100.

Al the money raised goes to help the Warrior Relief Fund continue to provide aid and services to military members past and present.
