NEGAUNEE TWP, Mich. (WLUC) - The Marquette County Sheriff's Department responded to a single vehicle rollover accident in Negaunee Township on Monday.

52-year-old Margaret Wendrick of Marquette was north bound on Morgan Meadows Road when she lost control of her 2004 Chevrolet Trail Blazer on the snow-covered, slippery roads. Her vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and rolled over. The vehicle landed in an upright position in Morgan Creek.

Wendrick was uninjured in the crash. Marquette Township Fire personnel assisted Wendrick in getting out of her vehicle. The vehicle sustained extensive damage, and Marquette Detailing Towing Service removed it from the creek.

No citations were issued, however, Wendrick was found at fault in the crash from driving too fast for road conditions.
