ONTONAGON, Mich. (WLUC) - A handicap accessible pocket park under construction in Ontonagon has been repaired following suspected vandalism earlier this week. The reward in the vandalism has also increased.
Pictures show someone drove through the downtown park where the Regional Inclusive Community Coalition group was laying bricks sometime late Monday or early Tuesday. The RICC introduced a downtown park proposal to the Village of Ontonagon Recreation Commission about a year ago.
The entire park will be handicap accessible and smoke free.
A $100 reward is being offered to help identify whoever was responsible for the vandalism.
TV6 and FOX UP will have updates on this story as they're available.
