Two men arrested after meth lab investigation arraigned in court

HOUGHTON, Mich. (WLUC) - The two men arrested after a three month long meth lab investigation have been arraigned in Houghton County District Court.

35-year-old Terry Bartlett of Houghton has been charged with Operating/Maintaining a meth lab, Delivery/Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Soliciting Another to Obtain Ephedrine and Ephedrine Purchase/Possession to Make Methamphetamine.

29-year-old Lawrence Frechette of Hancock has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.

Bartlett is lodged in the Houghton County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond.

Frechette was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

Both have Preliminary Exams set for January 31st.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending review by the Houghton County Prosecutor’s Office.
