IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WLUC) - Tour de Dickinson held its 11th annual ride in Iron Mountain Saturday.

The bikers all left Pine Mountain Saturday morning and rode one of six different routes ranging from a 5.5 mile family ride to the 62 mile race.

After racers crossed the finish back at Pine Mountain, they were able to enjoy brats, hotdogs, and burgers. Anyone participating also got to go to Italian Fest for free.

Riders said it was a great day for the event.

“Today's ride was excellent,” said 42 mile Rider, Sarah Venditti. “The weather was absolutely perfect, there's sunshine, there's no rain, there's not much wind. Great support from all the volunteers, and the food stations were well stocked and had lots of goodies.”

Proceeds from the Tour de Dickinson go to the Dickinson County Bike Path to help build and maintain bike trails all around the county.
