Torch Run Relay passes through Marquette County

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) – Michigan law enforcement raising money for Special Olympics ran through the Marquette area Tuesday morning.

This is part of the non-stop, 750-mile law enforcement Torch Run Relay that began Monday in Copper Harbor. It’s scheduled to end Friday on Belle Isle.

This relay is made up of three teams, from the Michigan State Police, the Fraternal Order of Police, and the Michigan Department of Corrections.
