MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) -- The third annual Forestville festival kicked off Friday for campers, and the main event began July 15 for the rest of public.
Festival goers were treated to music from 13 artists, craft beer from eight different breweries and food from local food trucks. The festival limited ticket sales to around 500 people to keep the event intimate and make sure everyone had a good spot to listen.
"The bands have been fantastic," said Andy Langlois, Forestville's music and brewery liaison. "The beer is flowing, some of the best craft beers in Michigan are flowing right here today at Forestville. Great musicians, local and regional, have been playing on a really top-notch music system."
That music played all afternoon and evening until 11 p.m.
Proceeds from the event go to the Noquemanon Trail Network.
