MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Singers are being asked to audition for the chance to perform the national anthem during the Kraft Hockeyville game.

The audition is being held Sunday, September 18th at the Ore Dock Brewing Company from 3-6PM.

Potential candidates will be screened by five judges to see who will represent our community the best.

They are open to anyone whether they are a solo act, group, or amateur.

Doug Garrow, a Local Chairman says, "We've had a lot of people come and ask if they can sing the anthem, but we figured that we'd like to throw it out there and see if there's that diamond out there-that diamond in the rough that this might be their big break and see how they do. It's a great opportunity for someone or somebody or a group."

If you or someone you know is interested, you can sign up either during ticket pick-ups or the day of the audition this Sunday.
