Effective immediately, Lakeshore Boulevard, from Fair Avenue to Wright Street, is open to through traffic.
Lakeshore from Wright to Hawley Street remains closed. A detour is provided.
An announcement will be released when the closure is lifted. TV6 & FOX UP will update this story as more information becomes available.

Lakeshore Blvd. between W. Fair Ave. and Hawley St. in the city of Marquette is still closed as of late Monday morning.
High wave activity is causing flooding in the area.

A portion of Lakeshore Blvd. is closed Saturday afternoon until further notice.
Lakeshore Blvd. between W. Fair Ave. and Hawley St. in the City of Marquette is closed. The roads in this area are iced over in sections due to excessive spray from the waves along the shoreline.
Marquette Police Department is asking that motorists do not travel along this portion of the roadway until the road is reopened.
