DOLLAR BAY, Mich. (WLUC) - Osceola Township is asking for public input on their recreation plan for the next five years. The five-year recreation plan make the township eligible for state grants.
Possible projects for the plan include the ice rink, Sandy Bottom Beach, and areas in the North End and Tamarack City.
Residents and non-residents are invited to give their feedback in an anonymous survey.
“The form asks you, are you familiar with these different recreation areas? Do you utilize them? Because it is for them. We're doing it for them. So, what do they want? What would they like to see happen in our township? What are their needs for recreation, both for young people and old people?”
Surveys are available at the township office and multiple local businesses. And online version is available by clicking here. The survey closes on October 20th.
