ONTONAGON COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) - One person was arrested for home invasion on Friday evening in Bruce Crossing.
The Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 27-year-old Dollar Bay man for home invasion and possession of marijuana at 6:03 p.m.
The arrest came from an initial identity theft complaint.
That investigation led the sheriff’s office to find the suspect who was living in an unoccupied relative’s home in Bruce Crossing.
The man was arrested outside of the home.
The suspect’s name has not been released and he is being held at the Ontonagon County Jail on a $10,000.00 at 10% bond.
The Sheriff's Office was assisted by Troopers from Wakefield and Calumet Michigan State Police posts.
The incident is still under investigation.
