MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - A theatre production company in Marquette is preparing to bring their latest show to the Northern Michigan University Black Box Theatre. Twirly Hug Productions presents "Five Women Wearing the Same Dress."

The story revolves around a wedding and five bridesmaids who are hiding out in the brides sister's room. The characters soon realize they have more in common with each other than with the bride.

"I think everyone in the audience, in particular every female audience member, will connect with what's going on onstage, in this very intimate setting you're a part of what's happening," said Martyn Martello, the show's Director.

"This is a great show to come see as wedding season is kicking off for the summer and it's a great girls night and there are definitely characters in this play that everyone can relate to," said Monica Nordeen, a Veteran Actress who plays the character Trisha.

The show does contain adult language and themes. Opening night is Thursday, May 18 at 7:30 p.m. The show runs through Saturday May 20. Tickets are available at the door or through the NMU EZ ticket outlet.
