NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WLUC) - UPDATE: September 27, 4:50 p.m.
A Negaunee man arrested Tuesday was arraigned on Wednesday in Marquette County District Court.
Fifty-eight-year-old Stan Wright was arraigned via video conference. He faces eight counts of possession of child sexually abusive material. Each count is a felony with a maximum sentence of four years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.
Wright is a former radio personality on WNMU-FM.
Northern Michigan University spokesperson Derek Hall said Wright left the university on Aug. 16, 2016.
The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, handled the investigation into Wright.
The investigation revealed that Wright was using a work computer to download and view child sexually abusive material. Evidence was found on the computer.
A probable cause hearing has been set for Wright on October 11th at 9 a.m. A preliminary hearing was also set for October 18th.
Wright's bond was set at $400,000.

Fifty-eight-year-old Stan Wright is in the Marquette County Jail on a $50,000 bond. He is expected to be arraigned in Marquette County District Court Wednesday afternoon. Michigan State Police investigators are recommending a charge of possession of child sexually abusive material.
Wright is a former radio personality on WNMU-FM. Northern Michigan University spokesperson Derek Hall says Wright left the university on Aug. 16, 2016.
"NMU officials have cooperated fully with the Michigan State Police investigation," said Hall, in a statement.
Hall directed all media inquiries to the Michigan State Police.
