MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Steven DeValle is testifying Thursday afternoon in court on day four of his jury trial.
DeValle claims he was never violent towards the victim, and that any violence or aggression during sexual activities was requested by her. Defense also called up a licensed pharmacist to back up the DeValle's claim that the antidepressant he was on during the time of the incident was behavior altering.
Yesterday, prosecution rested their case and the defense called their first witness, a physician who treated DeValle in Escanaba the night in question.
Another defense witness was the victim's neighbor, Rheine Dombrowski. She told the court the account of the two having a fight was different than the victim's account.
