ROCK, Mich. (WLUC) - The Mid-Peninsula School District recently laid-off two teachers.
According to Superintendent Mary Brayak the change is due to finances and some restructuring.
Brayak said the school has a “great plan going forward” and that the board has “been very proactive.” This is why, she said, it was only two teachers who had to be laid off. Brayak said this is also why they privatized their busing in the past.
Mid-Peninsula’s district houses the Great Start Readiness Program and K-12 classes, and covers an area of 332 miles.
