NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WLUC) - Did you know that if you have a library card in Michigan you also have access to discounts at many museums and parks across the state?
The Michigan Activity Pass is celebrating it's ten year anniversary.
There are more than 400 destinations across the state that participate in the program, with deals ranging from 10% off gift shops to even free admission. Click here to sign up for an activity pass, you'll need your library card to do so.
"The Michigan activity pass is a great way to connect with your library to get out and do lots of fun things for cheap during the summer," said Jessica Holman, director of the Negaunee Public Library.
16 new destinations were added this year, including the Marquette Maritime Museum. Other local attractions are buy one get one free at the Upper Peninsula Children's Museum, and free admission to the Beaumier UP Heritage Center.
